OUR STORY

Since 1997, we have visited The Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary. Our family has found this to be a wonderful pleasant spot to appreciate and get along. We've noted for years that there isn't a place with decent meals and accommodation. We used to stay at government guest houses.

So, in 2018, we finally had the notion to construct a location with all the modern amenities while remaining near to the wildlife and nature. The idea was to make it eco-friendly and to help the community by providing employment and opportunity for advancement.

We encountered numerous difficulties due to the location of the site being in an extremely remote area. Then, in order to provide the best experience of living in nature, we had to adhere to all forest laws and maintain a minimal use of core construction materials.

We eventually constructed this place after nearly five years of work.

Six cats and a family of four operate it; the cats don't play a particularly active part. Family members each have unique tasks and roles. Thus in a sense, our visitors become an additional part of the family, and you'll be happy to witness the services the TKS family offers.
